Championship Course

Mr Karl Litten design, opened in May 1992 ACR 75 LGUSS 75

Length   7154 yards ( 6438 metres) long from Blue tee
(4 par 5, 10 Par 4, 4 Par 3)
Greens   Bermuda 328
Tees   Bermuda 328
Fairways   Wintergreen
Roughs   Wintergreen

Designed by Mr Karl Litten of America, this course opened in 1992.

The first nine is played through melaleuca bushland with plenty of nature walks for the wayward shot. The back nine is watery, built over, around and along all shapes and sizes of water hazards. The par three 11th and 14th need hearty nerves and exacting irons.

Par is 72 over a distance of 7154 yards from the Blue Tees. Four of the holes are par 5, with one hole - Number 15 boasting no less than 15 sand traps over a distance of 519 yards as it curves around a watercourse.

This heavily watered par 72 course is established on the Queensland Golf Tour circuit and can prove to be a mighty challenge.

The championship course represents a challenge as it was designed with a different putting surface, enabling the pin placement to be changed to make a hole half a shot harder.

Most rounds are played to a gallery of birds (kookaburra, brolgas, ducks, and black cockatoos) and you can be assured an afternoon breeze will greet you on the more exposed holes. Both courses have differing characteristics and both are a pleasure to play.
